a holiday and a layout

today the kids are out of school. we have spent a lazy day doing little. we did go to lunch with dad. and now nigel is babysitting, the girls are coloring, and the mama is at the computer doing what she does best: watching tv and making layouts.


and guess what? this one is nigel and not the littles! who knew I had three?? hahaha.

tried to take a "nice" picture of the kids today. thwarted on that front, but this one sure does make me giggle.

365 layouts

new month, new gallery

June has arrived and with it a new gallery. Not to mention a birthday, a new facelift, and 5 new people! Sadly, it also means the official departure of Elizabeth. Oh, that's why you haven't seen me much! 

May was very very busy. One day alone I logged 20 hours. If I can just get through this next week with Richard's birthday, school events, and gymnastics, then hopefully some long overdue sleep will be possible.

These layouts are all based on layouts by Moon Ko. And all filled with digi stuff by Crystal.

All these photos were taken on Mother's day. And prompted a some new nutrition, a haircut, and a hair color. Argh. Getting old sucks.

sad today. let some frustrations show yesterday and today i am sad that i did not keep things in check. i am too old for acting out. today i need to take some time to reevaluate my commitments and the reasons behind them.

but this morning, a layout done. trying to get a good start to a day that will be difficult.
